The discovery was made after 2 Chainz had his broken pipe in his basement fixed, and it seems to have brought back fond memories of his father. Alongside the photo, 2 Chainz included a heartfelt caption, saying “RIP Pops [flying money emoji].”

But 2 Chainz’ fans were in for a double treat, as the rapper also revealed that his upcoming collaboration album with Lil Wayne is done. The two have worked together before, releasing the successful “Collegrove” album in March 2016, which debuted at number four in the US on the Billboard 200 chart. This upcoming project is rumored to be a sequel to “Collegrove.”

2 Chainz’ last solo album, “Dope Don’t Sell Itself,” was released in February 2022 and debuted at number 23 in the US. With this new discovery and the upcoming collaboration with Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz’ fans have a lot to look forward to.
